How to redirect a domain for email?

Hi,

Let's say I have two domains, we call them domA.com and domB.com. I would like my domA.com to be my main domain, and so let's say I create a user username@domA.com

I would like that if someone send an email to username@domB.com, it goes in the same mailbox as if the mail has been sent to username@domA.com ?

I do this in gmail for app, and this is called domain alias.

Any way to do this in CPanel? Domain park does not do that, with domain parking we can create mails for both domains, but I do not want that, I would like to have a single mailbox for both domains.

Thanks

This can be easily achieved through the 'Domain Forwarding' option in cPanel>>Mail>>Forwarders

PS: The above path might differ slightly depending upon the theme used by you.

Thanks
I just found out how to achieve this ^^

Btw to be able to forward such a domain, we first have to park the domain, right? (If not, the domain will not be visible in the dropdown box)

Now, another question, when the email is username@domain.com, the login name for the mail is username+domain.com. Is there a way to have username@domain.com as the login name instead?

Thanks again ^^

You can only forward to a domain hosted on that account (i.e. addon domains, parked domains). Otherwise, you will have to forward to a single email address (like a catch-all).

Or just adjust the MX and CNAME records for the domain being forwarded

Thanks for the answers.

And what about the login name? Any way to have a user login name beeing its email address, with the @ and not a + instead of the @ ?
