How to set up access for my web designer?

Please can anyone tell me how to set up access for my designer, so they can make changes to my website and view the analytic status. I have no idea and I have been searching online for 3 hours....please help.

You can either give them the cpanel username and password for the account in question, or you can go to your control panel and make a restricted ftp account just for them. The latter is safer, in that he/she will have no access to things like mail and stuff... but they will also have no access to look at stats and create databases and so on.
