Rebuild apache through WHM > Software > Apache Update
Jonathan Michaelson
Need your cPanel servers secured and tuned?
cPanel Server Configuration, Security, Recovery and Antivirus/AntiSpam Services
Developers of the most effective (and free) Firewall & Security Solution for cPanel Servers - csf
http://www.configserver.com
i did that from long time
Could you upgrade it? I have ran easyapache from shell and from whm and still when going to news it tells me mod_SLL ISN'T UP TO DATE.
mod_ssl 2.8.27 2.2.11
Thanks
Could you please try to upgrade it manually. You can download it from below URL:

I have the same issue - CPanel does not seem to update it (not sure if it's suppose to though)... Could a modified proprietary kernel have something to do with it?
easy apache should update it, see that you select 2.2 version of apache
Yes cpnale should do it but no it doesn't I have ran easy apache and yes selected the latest version of apache along with php 5.2.8 and no it does not update mod_ssl neither front page.
Thanks
So why does cPanel/whm not upgrade it automatically or even when running easy apache update?
May I know which version of WHM/CPanel are you using?
Personally, I am using:
cPanel 11.24.4-R32603 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9
CENTOS 4.7 i686 on standard
Apache 2.2.11
I have the same issue, is it because I am running PHP4 as well?
Thanks,
Brad
