    Question .htaccess file

    Hello, my name is Martin and I have just joint the cPanel forum. I do have a question about the .htaccess.php file. Where in cPanel is it located. I would appreciate if someone could help me. Thank you all.

    There isn't one. There is though, an .htaccess file, it's located in public_html/ If you're logging in via the cPanel File Manager you might not see it as its a dot file and is hidden.

    Assuming you've been into the File Manager, and possibly already have dismissed the popup you see on File Manager login with options, you can bring that back by clicking the link in footer of cPanel titled "rest all interface settings" Once you click that, now click the File Manager icon. When you do, on that popup find a message that says:

    "Show hidden Files (dotfiles)"

    Now login to the File Manager, and navigate into the public_html directory and you should find it there. If not, you'll need to create one.
