.htaccess in Preview Mode

I noticed that .htaccess doesn't function when in the preview mode (http://serverip/~username/).

When I contact the user's domain directly the .htaccess is working properly.

Any way to fix this?

Ah I figured out how Preview works.
It looks like a renderd image of the original.
Paths are different as well, thats why htaccess didnt work.

Don't think that can be changed easily.
