Question I changed hosts, but forgot DB backup. Is it too late?

    I recently changed hosts.
I made a home directory backup, but i forgot the most recent database backup. I still have my account open with my previous host but the Cpanel login info doesn't work anymore? Cpanel now works with new host credentials only. Is this because i had them change the dns already? Is there any way to get the DB backup still or no?

    Thanks in advance.

You might get lucky by trying to login to your old cPanel account using the IP of the server instead of the doman name. If you can, you should be able to generate a backup.

I wouldn't wait though, it may be gone soon.

Or, contact your old host and ask about grabbing it for you, quick before he kills the account.

If they have terminated your account, then you might have lost your database. And if you have not exceeded the billing period your account should be reachable via ip address.

    Good Luck
