Exclamation I could not install wordpress using fantastico successfully.

I choose to install wordpress in the main directory of my domain:as in myname.com,but i was told there are conflicting filenames, that some filenames already exist in the main directory.I was informed to removes those files manually before proceeding with auto installation. How do i achieve this.Honestly,i need help please.

You can try to remove the script from the control panel using the below mentioned steps:

    1. Login to your hosting account via cPanel
    2. Click on File Mangager
    3. Click on .fantasticodata
    4. Click on Wordpress folder.
    5. Find the file that matches up the information you installed and remove that specific file.

Its better if you take backup for your existing files present in root of your domains and then delete the files to avoid any loss of files. You can take backup from your cPanel >> Backups

You could also try the "Famous 5-minute install." shown on this page.
