im using cPanel build 11.11.0-STABLE 16999

my main page is known as index.php (which is my forum)
ive created a new web page known as index.htm

i want to be able to open my web page instead of the forum and access the forum via the web page

at present when u go to the url it takes you directly to the forum

help please?

Create a .htaccess (if it doesn't already exist), then add this line :

DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.shtml index.xhtml index.wml index.perl index.pl index.plx index.ppl index.cgi index.jsp index.js index.jp index.php4 index.php3 index.php index.phtml default.htm default.html home.htm

The extensions are sorted by priority (the system will first search for an index.html, then an index.htm... etc etc).
