install issue

I have a cpanel installation that i am now trying to add another server with the DNS only install packages. However when I run it the install seems to hang after running installmod and it seems to go forever just with the following:
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . .
etc, etc etc ...

It has now happened twice. once on a mostly clean install and once on a brand new install. any help or directioon would be appreciated

Also on the most recent install just before this happened it asked me for the install information to install CPAN. Which i didn't happen on my full installation nor on my previous dnsonly installation.

You should tail the two log files during the installation of cPanel :

/var/log/cpanel-install-thread0.log
and
/var/log/cpanel-install-thread1.log
