Latest 300 Visitors configuration

Is there a way to configure the Latest 300 Visitors to show stats from more than the last 24 hours?

My old host used Cpanel and the Latest 300 Visitors stayed visible for a month instead of 24 hours. If I only get around 300 hits a month, it is more useful for me to be able to see these stats all together instead of having them archived every day.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with this because I'm switching hosts soon so I don't have much time to solve this problem.

The reason the Last 300 Visitors functionality typically resets after 24 hours is due to Apache log rotation taking place every 24 hours. If the logs aren't rotated on a daily basis, but instead on a monthly basis, you would have this for a month. Note, most web hosting providers will host websites that generate much traffic so they rotate logs every 24 hours to keep the server performing optimally. Once an Apache log reaches 2GB, bad things start happening - hence the log rotation.

I just thought I'd provide some background information on why that is the case with most web hosting providers.
