Login Attemp Failed!

hi,

im having an odd issue when trying to login into a cpanel account

if i login via ip htt://xxx.xxx.xxx:2082

im getting Login attemp failed.

I thought at first it was a bad password, so i changed it via whm.
But ive reset the password a number of times in whm and nothing works.

Weird thing is i can ssh via putty with the changed password just fine

any ideas onyone?

So you are attempting to login using the cPanel user's username and the cPanel user's password?

Try going to http://server-ip:2082/ just to make sure it's not a dns propagation issue that is causing the domain to point to another server.

If http://server-ip:2082 does not work then it is quite possible that your IP is blocked in the server firewall. Ask your host to check whether the connections from your IP to port 2082 is being blocked by the server firewall.
