Ok i have a domain at www.blahblah.com but what i want to add is bob.blahblah.com. should i be trying to do this under a nameserver and give it its own IP.

Also we have two domains blahsheep.com and sheepblah.com well we got the firt one to go threw but the second wont link up to its DNS/IP and we did both of them at the same time.

Could someone point me to a step by step for dumbies cause i could sure use one.

As far as adding bob.blahblah.com all that is is a subdomain.

Under cPanel select "Subdomains". Then just type in bob and from the dropdown list to your right, make sure "blablah.com" is selected. Click "Add Sub-domain". Then it will be added. Sub-domains MUST point to a folder unless you setup redirection.

As far as the two domains... point one to the other. If sheepblah.com is resolving, then point blahsheep.com to sheepblah.com.

I think that should solve most of your problems.

    Sub-Domains
If you are creating a sub-domain for someone so that they can "create a site" off of your site, then you first create a folder with the name they want. Then add the sub-domain. Then you can add an FTP to their folder for them.

    Domain Pointing / Parking
Go to your Domain Name Registrar (Godaddy.com <-- example) and there should be an option for domain parking/pointing/redirecting. Make sure that the domain sheepblah.com points or redirects to blahsheep.com.
    Simple enough right?
