    Default MX and sendmail

    Hello,

Since some days now I have a customer that has a special setup.

domain.nl has DNS settings pointing to CompanyX

CompanyX has the website DNS record pointing to our server.

CompanyX has the MX record pointing to customers own mailserver in the office.

We have our MX record pointing to custormers own mailserver in the office.

Viewing the site works fine, but when a PHP script sends a mail with the 'mail()' function the mail never gets sent to the mailserver in the office eventhough the MX record is setup to do that.

Has anybody got any idea how to fix this?

    Kind regards,

    Colin Myerscough

Take the domain out of /etc/localdomains and put it in /etc/remotedomains (and create that file if necessary).
