Default name-based vs IP-based virtual hosting

Does any one know whether CP supports name-based virtual hosting (shared IP hosting) or IP-based virtual hosting (dedicated IP hosting)? I have problems of using a third-party dynamic DNS service with Apache/CP.

cPanel/WHM supports accounts with both dedicated IPs and shared IPs.

As cPanel/WHM itself requires a static IP address, you will need a publicly visible static IP address to keep your server operational.

Is there any particular reason you are using a dynamic DNS service for a server with, presumably, a static IP address?
