NEED HELP: "SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data"

I am getting bounce emails that may or may not be related to how we have our cPanel or server set up. Can you help?

I take that part hilighted to mean the email account is no longer active or working. If the account is not there, mail to it would bounce, right?

If I had a choice in what to believe, I would say "yes, the yahoo account is closed". But I have spent 10 days battling Yahoo in getting our customer invoice emails past their blocking devices, and when I saw the mere mention of a ""SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data" - I wondered if I was getting a "dual message", one of blockage and the other of the customer account possibly being closed.

When I googled ""SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data" I found several complaints from web owners who got the same Yahoo message, but their customer email accounts were not closed (they were still good and open)
