Default New Account - Email Not Setup Correctly

Today I created a new account in WHM. I then visited the cPanel and attempted to add an email address under the new domain.

However, it seems that the directory /home/account/etc/ is empty when it should be populated with a directory named after the new domain. When is this usually generated? Or is this something I need to do manually? I have no problem doing it manually, but if it is a problem I wanted to resolve it for future use.

    Thanks.

It seems that the account is not hosted properly. You can try to rehost the account and have a try.

No manual work is required to create the proper directory structure; this process occurs automatically when it is needed.

Was there an error reported when creating the e-mail account?

Is the new e-mail account listed when viewing the E-mail Accounts page in cPanel?

If the e-mail account is created, have you attempted to login yet, such as via Webmail or other methods, including IMAP, POP or SMTP?

Please try checking the following directory path, in the "mail" sub-directory of the applicable cPanel user account's home directory (while ensuring to substitute the actual cPanel account username, domain name, and e-mail user):
    Code:
    /home/username/mail/domain.tld/emailuser/

For clarification to the benefit of others, are you referring to removing and re-creating something, or what exactly is meant by "rehost the account"?
