New Page Not Updating

I am revising a page and its style sheet off-line using Dreamweaver. I upload the page and style sheet using FTP Voyager. But, neither Internet Explorer nor FireFox displays the new page as styled.

Instead, IE just displays a previous version of the page when I refresh the page.

FireFox displays the new page very briefly then reverts to the previous page.

By the way, I have simplified the styling of the new page in an effort to get it to display as styled.

Note: I have done everything I know to do to remove cached pages in the browsers.

Is there a page cache in the version 11.25 server? I believe I remember setting a cache to On, but am not finding documentation for it or any place to access it.

This would be more of a Dreamweaver/webpage coding issue than a cPanel problem, wouldn't you think?

Hello,

I think I have figured out the problem and the solution.

I had 4 different style sheets, each with a different name - of course -, and web pages were supposed to be calling the different style sheets. However, it looks as though the server was simply serving the same style sheet to all web pages.

When I deleted all, but the test style sheet, it became the one served.

I hope someone fixes this or explains how to overcome it.
