New user Questions

HI, I am new to using CPanel and just have two quick questions. It appears (correct me if I am wrong) that CPanel at this time does not run on any windows Boxes, correct? The second questions is that Currently my server sits behind a firewall and everything is NAT to it. Would I need to assign my server the RW IP and then make it directly accessable or can I continue to use NAT? Sorry for the basic questions, just have not had a chance to read the documentation(But I will!).

Thanks,
Steve

cPanel/WHM itself as server software does not yet run on Windows servers. Regarding NAT, the official answer is that we do not support NAT being used in conjunction with a cPanel/WHM server.

Feel free to drop me an email with these questions to sales@cpanel.net so I can give more thorough answers.
