No limit to sending emails but only send 500 mail /hour

I have a serverwith centos 5 64 bits installed.

I have 8 core, acually 2 real quad core processors, its a very fast server.

However when I send the emails using a software that connect via smtp the server take all the email but place them in queue.

The problem is that when I check the Mail statistics my server only deliver 500-700 emails per hour.

Is it possible to be because of my ISP or its a server problem?

This is really dependant on your MTA ( exim ) configuration, and speed and if you are using an outside relayer. Qmail is the fastest solution ( used by yahoo ) for sending emails, but it`s curently not integrated with cPanel.
