No PHP in Subdomains / Addon-Domains

Hi out there!

My server is running CentOS 5.3 with Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.2.10 with suPHP on and Suexec on!

My problem is, PHP is working for each "main domain" like www.blabla.com etc.. but when i add a subdomain or a addon-domain, in this new domain PHP is not working (z.b. something.blabla.com/phpinfo.php) when i then open this page, a file download dialog appears. On myself it makes the view that something with the php handler is not correctly configured for sub/addon-domains.

does anyone else have this problem or even better has a solution?

Sounds like an issue of a conflicting .htaccess file. Be sure to check your paths for .htaccess files that could be causing PHP to behave in this way.
