no website configured

Im not stupid but for the last 12 hrs I have been trying to get a site published. Still getting the no website configured message.

My questions are:

1. how long from package setup, new account setup, upload index into relevant public_html file does it then take to publish??

I have had this problem previously which my host sorted for me but now I want to sort for myself and I am continuously checking through an anoymous browser so my cache doesnt come into it and yet the same cpanel message keeps appearing.

Im really hoping someone will say it can take some time.

Do you have a shared ip or own ip. If you don't have this. Make then a shared ip or own ip. Then give this ip when you are making a new account
