Question One box empty, one box full :-)

Hopefully a newbie question and easily resolved.

I created a new account, set up POP3 email and sent a couple of trials.

If I go into the email account panel, account is there, I click on Access Webmail, enter cpanel login info and there are the emails.

But, if I enter www.domainname.com/webmail, it asks for email address and password - and the mail box is empty.

I would hav e thought there is just one box - obviously I don't understand the concept.

An explantaion as to what I don't understand would be great.

    My thanks

When you click "Access Webmail" on the cPanel Home screen, you are logging into the "default" account for that cPanel account. Most people don't use this account on an everyday basis.

When you go to domain.com/webmail, you can login to the email account(s) you created - which is different from the "default" account that exists on all cPanel accounts by default.
