Do you have the port opened in your firewall? Can we see your firewall rules?

    Code:
    /sbin/iptables -n -L
    Thanks!

You can try a telnet test to ensure the port is not being blocked in the server. But telnet should not be disabled in the server before performing this test.

    telnet yourip 2087

Also check the iptables if port blocked there.

It's likely the firewall and seeing the firewall rules is what is needed. The default RedHat rules on new OS install block the cPanel ports. That's why I wanted to see the firewall rules.

If it ends up being the firewall blocking it, then either a) installing CSF, or b) opening the cPanel, WHM and webmail ports will work. Here's a post on each of those:

    -Install CSF-

-Open ports for cPanel, WHM, webmail-
