    Default Problem with e-mail

I have a problem with my mail i cannot connect to any mail.domain.com host ?

Unable to send or receive messages for the domain (domain) account. The host 'mail.domain.net' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

    Server: 'mail.domain.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 110
    Secure(SSL): No
    Socket Error: 11004

maby this has somthing to do with this

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (server1.domain.net) resolves to . It should resolve to xxx.xx.xxx.xxx. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
    believe everything else is correct.

    You may be able to
automatically correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager

    anyhelp would be appreciated

thank you all for the help

I am not sure I follow what you are doing here.

For the DNS errors make sure that your server can resolve hostnames fine, it is possible that your DNS servers in /etc/resolv.conf are bad.

Do also use a remote site to check that your domains MX records work.

For the relaying make sure that the domain that should be on your server is listed in /etc/localdomains , if not add it and make sure it is not in /etc/remotedomains.

    Hello,

In order to check dns record, use intodns.com, it will give exact error if you have any problem in dns zone..
Apart from this try to send mail using root from server, if it works..surely you have a problem with domain configuration..
