    Default Problem with named

    Hello,

    I'm opening this topic because I need some help with my cPanel and the named installed on it.

    I looked trought this forum for answers but what I got here is not helping at all.

    What is happening to my server is that when I try to set up the bind as named server, I'm getting this error message:

    warn [fixrndc] /usr/sbin/rndc status failed: WARNING: key file (/etc/rndc.key) exists, but using default configuration file (/etc/rndc.conf)rndc: connect failed: 127.0.0.1#953: connection refused


    I already did:

    /scripts/fixnamed

    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/fixrndc

    /scripts/upcp

    And still nothing. I'm using the NSD as named server because I'm having this issue with the bind. But I need to use bind. Can anyone here help me, please?

    I don't know what to do anymore.
