    Angry Problems using Frontpage Extentions

I'm having troubles publishing my site using frontpage extentions. It repeatedly shows:

"An error occured accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more details."

I've deinstalled and reinstalled the FP extentions many times without any result.

I do not know what version of cPanel my provider is using, but I know they were recently affected by a problem caused by Exim, so that sendmail didn't function anymore.

How do I know where things go wrong? Are there any known problems with modules concerning Apache and FPe? I've searched a lot but couldn't find anything.

    What are my best chances?

    sincerely,

    JM Stoorvogel

It means that you have to reinstall the FP extensions for that domain.

As I already said: I've done this several times without any result.

Well, when I had that problem, thats what I did and it fixed it. Thats why I suggested it, not just to see my name in print or anything.

There has been a problem with FP extensions during the latest round of cPanel upgrades. You might search the forum to see what the latest info is.

While none of my clients use FP. I did have the broken padlock for FP in my WHM news. The latest rebuild of apache and cpanel upgrade seems to have (at least) removed the FP broken padlock.
