Pure-Ftpd failed to start

Hi

I am unable to start pure-ftpd on my RHEL 5.4 with cpanel it says

"ftp server has failed to s contact system admin"

can anybody have solution for this ?

Check the log file. Usualy there should be some relevant informations.

Please try this

/scripts/ftpup --force

It will reinstall pure-ftpd service.
