Regarding ASSP (Anti Spam SMTP Proxy)

Hi,

I had inquired about ASSP from our data center people & they respond as below

we high recommend that you do not use this on your server. It makes a tremendous amount of trouble for other customers. It would be much better if you used the SpamAssassin installed, the RBL's and then add CSF as your firewall.

ASSP is a terrible product.

Guys let us know your suggestions please

And if any cPanel person can write here it would be great for me & others as well

I've been using ASSP for years myself, and have had absolutely no issues with it at all.

Yes assuming it meets the requirements. Do keep in mind depending on your settings it can be pretty resource intensive .
