restore email messages
Hello,
I am trying to restore some accidentally deleted emails from backup. I cp -p the emails from backup to the users "new" directory they got moved to the "cur" but don't show up in email client. I have checked the owner and permissions, deleted courieruidb file (it was recreated) but still cannot see any of the restored emails. Thanks in advance for any advice! |

Some clients keep a record of which message IDs it's already viewed and
hides those from view even though they are actually there. It would depend on which program you are using as to exactly how to go in there and clear the indexing if that is what is going on here.
