    Arrow Set Default Address

    Hi

    Set Default Address
The default email address will "catch" any mail that is sent to an invalid email address for your domain. All mail that is sent to an address that does not exist will go to the default email address. To send all default mail to the main mail account, simply type the user name of your cPanel account in the email address input field.
i am unable to do this & it is asking me for user@example.com

    check snapshot for further reference

please guide me what to do now

It's asking for a full email address, and using that example.com to show you what it means. Add a full email address if you choose to change this.

You should probably [IMHO] set this to Discard and give it a message like:

No such person at this address

Hmm, you got me. Never tried that myself. But I just did, and it's not accepting a username for me either.

Although I will say I did not click the 'Change' button to fully test if it would go thru or not. You try it...

But it does show in red for me as yours does.

All forms in cPanel show in red like that if it doesn't like the imput, as you know. I'm not sure why it says it'll take a username only but doesn't, sorry.
