    Default setting of packages etc

Hi, I am new to hosting and didnt think it be such a jump in understanding.

The basis of what I want to do is:-

    1. setup a normal hosting account (relatively easy and managed this)
2.setup a hosting account with a modified os commerce shop with pre installed products.

i.e a customer comes along and selects a hosting package with a preinstalled product range on my heavily customised shopping cart.

so say you have 3 different product groups.

we would have 3 datbase files 1.sql, 2.sql and 3.sql for arguments sake.
    we also have images file/folder image1, image2, image3

    this would be packages OSCpack1, OSCpack2, OSCpack3.

The rest of modified shop files would be the same.

I then just need to integrate the setup of these pacakages into account labs plus.

If I understand correctly I can automatical install files on all my users accounts by placing the files in the skelton directory, however I want to keep two types of hosting seperate along with the 3 types of pre installed osc packages.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I seperate these out using the skeleton directory system or some other alternative if that is not the best way to go?

    Thanks
    MadW

Ps been using control panel as an end user for several years, been using WHM about 10 days.

The skeleton directory is to automatically copy stock files into the new account. If you have databases and scripts that need to be customized on the fly when you create the account, you will need to write a script to do this in the postwwwacct process. You can't just put them in the skeleton directory because all it will do it copy the files to the new account without configuring them.

PlatinumServerM beat me to the punch line on that one ...

Anyway, yes if you write a script located and named /scripts/postwwwacct
then anything in that script will be executed upon account creation which
gives you the opportunity to perform any specific customizations from script.
