setting up new IP address on server

I have purchased to new Ip address to add to my server.I am notsure how to do this. I have been pokeing around in cpanel but I want to be sure I am doing thngs right.

If someone can help me out that would be great.Guid me through.

Make sure your Subnet Mask is correct (probably 255.255.255.0)

better add the new ip using => Add a New IP Address under IP Functions and then try that.
