I cannot access my cPanel, the guy that was my partner moved everything to a shell. If I move servers, he has not responded to emails or phone calls for the last 3 days, and change where the nameservers are pointed will I be able to access the database? Or is it being in a shell prevent me from doing that?

If he comes back online, no worries, but I have put a lot of work into driving traffic to the site to give up on it now. So I am trying to see what my options are, I do control the server it is on right now but they are being less than helpful in this matter.
