    Default Squirrelspell gives error

When I try to spell check in Squirrelmail I get the error

Warning: fopen("../../.sqmaildata/d49734610364fd200fc728c7f79c5f79", "w") - No such file or directory in /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail.custom/plugins/squirrelspell/modules/check_me.mod on line 100

I think (but not sure) that the spell checker is failing to create a temp file in the .sqmaildata directory. I have done chmod 0733 on the .sqmaildata directory but that didn't resolve the problem. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Default

I fixed the problem by creating a .sqmaildata directory under /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail.custom/ so now spell check works. I'm not too happy that its using a central .sqmaildata directory instead of using the .sqmaildata directory under each user's home directory but I will live with that for now.
