SSL Cert install problems

Brand new cert issued by godaddy and installed. As far as I can tell, the certificate is installed and good as it shows the new expiration date in cPanel.

However, when I go to the site, it is still serving up the old certificate.

E: When it got done installing it restarted httpd but for grin I restarted it and still serving up the old cert.

NFM - Someone changed the DNS to point the site to a different server.

first make sure that browser cache is not causing the problem.

try this to ensure that httpd restarted properly

service httpd stop
pkill -9 httpd

service httpd startssl

if that too did not fix, make sure that the cert is properly installed checking the cert entry in apache.conf, the 443 entry for your domain in httpd.conf. the SSLCertificateFile and SSLCertificateKeyFile in that virtualhost defines the path to cert and key files. Make sure that they are updated checking those files.

usually, it will be like /usr/share/ssl/certs/domainname.crt (for certs)
and
/usr/share/ssl/private/domainname.key (for key file)

Thanks for the reply. I double checked everything and it looks like it is good to go as soon as I get the DNS changes made.
