ssl installed for domain but not working !

I installed SSL for mydomain.com with Dedicated Ip Address. but when I finish install, It not working with https://mydomain.com

I tried command "telnet localhost 443" and I get result "unable remote conection to host".

Please let me what should i do ?

Please make sure that server http with SSL is working on your server. If you have an access to your server then you can try to fire the below mentioned command in your SSH:

/etc/init.d/httpd stop
/etc/init.d/httpd startssl
