Question Standard Home Directory Download (deleted files and don't have a backup!)

    Hey guys,

Hope someone can help me out here. I am in the middle of starting up a new e-business...and yesterday when I was trying to install a cms, I accidentally deleted a bunch of folders from my home directory.

    I have two questions:

    1. Are the folders (etc, tmp, cgi-bin) specific to my website or does cpanel come with standard folders containing standard information?

    2. Is there a way for me to get a hold of the files and folders that I lost from someone/somewhere? I hadn't created any pages yet, so I basically just need to start from fresh, but my webhost is taking forever to respond and restore my cpanel.

    Please let me know!

    Thanks so much,

    Mitch

etc, tmp, cgi-bin are all system folders, not related to your CMS.
