Strange domain redirect issue? [moved]

I uploaded and configured PostNuke and my url always read http://www.mydomainname.com/whatever...

Now I am playing with Xoops and every time I type in the url it defaults to http://myusername.myhost.com/mydomai...ules/whatever/

Can anyone explain how this happens and what to do to resolve it?

You probably have some odd rewrite rules in the local .htaccess file at the top of that account.
