Sub addon domain removal

I have two sub domains on an add-on domain, e.g.:

1.addon.com
2.addon.com

However, I foolishly removed the add-on domain, without first removing the sub domains. As such, the sub domains don't show up in the sub domain table, as they used to. But, they do show up in any lists, e.g. I can create an email account for user@1.addon.com, or even a sub domain, e.g. sub.2.addon.com.

The add-on domain has since been associated with another account on the same server, so I can't add it back into the original account, and I can't add the sub domains to the new account, as they already exist.

How would I go about removing the sub domains from the original account? If indeed they are still sub domains in this case!

It seems the entry of sub-domain is still exists on the server. Kindly consult your hosting provider to check.
