Subdomain on different server ?

Hello there!

A friend of mine has website in a host company.. the domain is domain.com

I want the subdomain game.domain.com to be hosted on my server.

What actions should be taken by both sides?

I do not know if my friend uses whm/cPanel..

Should I create an account and in the domain field put game.domain.com?

Should I tweak any dns zone manually?

Yes you can create an account game.domain.com . Your friend has to modify the zone file of domain.com. He must add an A entry for game.domain.com to point to your account's ip.
