Subdomain only working with www.

Good afternoon,

My server seems to be setting up subdomains incorrectly, when i setup a subdomain it makes the subdomain only accessable via http://www.subdomain.domain.com and http://subdomain.domain.com does not work.

I have tried searching google and these forums but not found a solution yet although i did come across someone saying that http.conf needs ajusting but found no solid guide on how to correctly set it up.

Can anyone shed some light on what files i need to edit, i want to make the changes server wide. So that subdomains work correctly.

Please make sure that you have added the A entry in your DNS zone editor for the below mentioned records:

www.subdomain A IP Address
subdomain A IP Address
