That's what I thought.

Whether or not you can change the display format depends on the ftp program. Most do let you move windows around.

I don't want to move windows around...I can't seem to make myself clear...it's the file structure that is the problem....Tech support answered it for me.....they can't change their file structure on the server to the one on the left...it has to stay the way it is on the right to work on their server

Dizzie wants subdomain folders to appear as top level folders versus subfolders under the main domain.

I suppose some symlinking might do it, but your host may not be willing to go through the trouble.

That is what subdomains are in cPanel land! They are subfolders under the main domain with an Alias attached to them. You would have to create the subdomains as individual accounts to bring them to that level and I do not think that would make your life any easier (I am guessing it would have the opposite effect ).

That may be true about the server on the right side of the picture...but the server on the left side of the image has it the way it is shown. I don't have any idea how they do it but it is really nice for organization....
