    Default Taking one domain from one host and bring it to my host w/ cPanel.

    Ok i've been trying this for days really confused? , I change the names servers at the following domain http://propertymath.com And it changed but i cannot get it to come to my website ?

    I went to cpanel and clicked addomain .

    New Domain Name: propertymath
    Subdomain/FTP Username: propertymath
    Document Root: home/ index.html?

    I tryed to make the username my original which is "ftbuddy" Becuase that's where to website is but it wouldn't let me and automatic maide a sub user? please help ? o yea im with cloud server centos and i already added domain there and changed a name and stuff

    If you're creating an addon domain as it sounds like you are, there is no real need to touch the username at all. You'll still be logging into the main account with your regular username. You might want to remove what you've added and try again. This time, type in the full domain name. Let the next two sections autofill, and add your addon account password.

    It looks by your post you made some changes to the default settings thats making the path to the addon site not work right.

    Default Server Domain Transfer? add on

    my Server is cloud server

    My host name is ftbuddy for my person website i build website for people
    Im made on right now and this guy is hosted a domain name with inmotion hosting his domain name is propertymath.com

    So i redid his website and change his nameservers to mine at inmotionhosting.com
    Then logged into cloudserver rackspace and changed a records etc.

    Then went to my Cpanel and hit add on domain It ask's the following

    New Domain Name: i put "propertymath.com"
    Subdomain/FTP Username: i put "ftbuddy"
    Document Root: i put "public_html/propertymath"

    Password:
    Password (Again)


    THEN MY ERROR MESSAGE IS !!!!????????

    Error from domain wrapper: Domain already exists, it was not added.: ftbuddy.ftbuddy.com

    Do you already have a subdomain called ftbuddy.ftbuddy.com on the account? If so, you will need to select a different subdomain name or remove the already existing subdomain in cPanel > Subdomains area. Any time you create an addon domain on a cPanel machine, it also creates a subdomain entry on the main domain.
