Smile Is there a way to get snapshots of websites and store on my server with CPanel?

I want to be able to run an exe that will grab a snapshot of a website on the fly and place it on my webserver within my cpanel for my http://pixelspotlight.com/ website. Currently I am relying on a third party to do this and would like to handle this on my own.

Any suggestions or help on this would be great!

    wget -m http://pixelspotlight.com

will make a pixelspotlight.com directory which should contain a 'mirror' of the site.
it can't track javascripted links, but otherwise it'll do what you want.

    man wget
    if you need more info.

I think he wants a snapshot (ie JPG/PNG/GIF) of the rendered site, rather than just a copy of the html files.

Post yes, a snapshot (jpg, png...) is exactly what I'm looking for.

I currently use http://www.artviper.net/websitethumbnails.php to get my thubnails/snapshots... but like I said want to have my own local tool I can use within cPanel so I don't have to depend on a third party for this service. Any further ideas or know of anyone doing this within cPanel?

    Thanks!

Yea, I get what you're doing.

Trick is, the page needs to be rendered. Check out the mozilla project, I'm almost certain someone has made the firefox rendering engine into a separate binary, or that there's an option for firefox to do this. Sorry, can't remember exactly though ...
