Hi. I have just seen the tmp go up.

Will this automatically go back down to about 13megs(where is usually rests).

Normally, it should go down when the processes which uses it stops and exit.

However, sometimes it may get too large for comfort and you should login as root and view whats under /tmp.

Most likely, its the session files which is consuming space, you may safely delete all files beginning with sess*

Hi. I have aload of folders called clamav-4f5509dbf961ee46 (something like that) each folder like this takes about 5megs. Everytime i install Clamav it creates a new folder. ClamAV is now not installed. Is it ok to uninstall.

    Are these folders under /tmp?

If they are and you have uninstalled CLAMAV, then it is safe to delete them.
