    Default Tomcat

I have read stuff but I am still confused. Tomcat cannot be installed through the WHM - but can it be installed manually without breaking WHM and CPANEL? I have gotten spolied by all this "click a button and it works" stuff.

You CAN install Tomcat as long as you have access to cPanel -> AddOn or cPanel -> Plugins

I installed while on cPanel 10 (I think it was cPanel -> AddOn Modules)
On cPanel 11, the menu is cPanel -> Plugins

Down near the bottom is Tomcat 5.5.9-1.1 (not the newest Tomcat 5.5...)
Find that plugin and you are "one click away from happiness..."

Once installed, you could probably upgrade the Tomcat directories manually - haven't tried that myself...
