At this time, cPanel/WHM does not have a migration tool for converting from SWSoft's H-Sphere to cPanel/WHM.

Well, it wont be automated, but if the messages are stored in maildir format, you should be able to just move the files (mail) to the appropriate locations on the cPanel/WHM server. Mail is typically stored in /home/user/mail where user is the user's cPanel username.

    Default hsphere to cpanel

Any chance that a migration script for hsphere to cpanel has been developed since this post?

If not, can someone tell me how to transfer mail accounts from an HSPHERE dedicated server to a cpanel dedicated server? I would like to retain the email accounts & passwords as they exist on the HSPHERE system.

    Thanks a million,
    Paul

    Default hsphere to cpanel

    Hello samuelmf,

I guess cpanel does put updates in changelogs as new provisions/features are added.

I hope you get your fix in the next release.

But for now you should get the task done manually, I'm not sure whether the password and email accounts would be intact, the data would.

    Best luck
