upcp error

Hello,

upcp is giving the following error

..Fetching http://layer2.cpanel.net/STABLE-installer/ (0).......Unable to connect to host: 74.200.65.162......skipping 74.200.65.162......Unable to connect to host: 69.90.250.34

It tries for many more hosts and get fail

I can connect to port 80 on these servers using telnet. What may be the issue?

I have restarted the cpanel .
Modified cpupdate.conf

nothing work

I encountered the following error message while running upcp. The issue was with all the scripts(say upcp, eximup, etc.)

Cause:-
The file /etc/services was missing in the server

Solution:-
I copied the file /etc/services from another server and then tried running the script /scripts/upcp which was done successfully
