I'm sure a lot of you do websites for customers who you would never let near cPanel, they tinker about with things.
How can I let a customer see thier awstats without letting them have the cPanel password?

You did not check the Cpanel FAQ's. There is one on that.
http://faq.cpanel.net/show.cgi?qa=105724004605217
Also found in Google.
Note:
The one at http://www.josheli.com relies on a possible security breach in php:
allow_url_fopen

I did have a look there first and searched the term password, I only used awstats as an example of stuff that users want to see.
The FAQ is installing a completely new version of awstats and bypasses the one already installed, seems this must be the way to go with other apps too.
Thanks for the input.
