Vps install?

I have several questions to start off with but my main question is...

Does cpanel only use 1 install file for both VPS edition and full blown edition or are there different install scripts?

There's only one script for VPS and dedicated servers and another script for DNS Only: http://layer1.cpanel.net/

The installer is same. When you execute it detects that whether its VPS or dedicated server and then installs the relevant cPanel version.
